The suspense was built so wonderfully and it was able to remain tense with very little viewer exposure to the threat. Very enjoyable, and that end scene was sharp.

Kicking off halloween watching esrly! Such a atmospheric film. The last bit of the ending was weird and the radio ladybug gonna have some repairing to do with her son, just saying.

Solid horror movie

One day I may love this movie, however, every time I press play on this I get a festering boredom deep in my skull. Maybe it’s just me.

the time it took to set up could’ve been more interesting, soundtrack was great though

pretty cool and innovative

Visually it’s a really beautiful and spooky movie but nothing that interesting happens until the last 15 minutes. Should’ve just watched SpongeBob.

5/10 quite fancy for an 80s film, can’t say I’d watch it again

Pretty solid supernatural horror. The practical effects and setting made me appreciate it much more. John Carpenter cowrote, directed, and composed the film, which gave it a unique feel. 7.5/10

Another JC 80s classic....love the secludedness in this and how the suspense builds with the radio reports. Great shots and cast in this.

It's fun but not the best storyline. It's kind of simple and slow moving at times.

I didn’t really get this movie until I saw it with the audio commentary by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. Now it’s a favorite of mine that I have to watch every April 21st.
