Given I love both leads and Gilliam has directed a couple of my favorites ever (Brazil and MP’s Holy Grail) I wanted to like this more than I did.

It’s not a perfect movie, but more of a deeply human mess - just like the rest of us. 3/5

This movie was all over the place and the more it went on the more I loved it and it’s just really well made but also kinda confusing and weird idk I just really enjoyed watching it it and the ending was very heartwarming

I never knew that Jeff Bridges used to look like Triple H, but damn can he act. Next to prime Robin in a roll fit for Robin. Awesome casting and awesome story. Terry Gilliam is a genius

Not a comedy, but a good drama.

Not enough people have seen this movie. If for nothing else, watch it for Robin Williams’ wonderful performance

There just are not enough movies like this. Great story. Wonderful characters. Totally off the wall but hugely entertaining. A wonderful layered story that deals with trauma, loss, dreams and love in a special way. One of those films that make you think differently about life.

Main issue was unlikable Bridges character. Character development came way too late. And then just plain weirdness. Not my vibe.

Pretty good movie. Could’ve been worse but as usual Robin Williams saved it from being boring.

Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams display their impeccable range in this severely underrated Terry Gilliam film. Heartbreaking, heartwarming and incredibly charming.
