wasn’t as boring as i expected? it was surprisingly interesting throughout the whole film. i hate the “character cheats on their s/o and in the end they’re always forgiven,” trope, but that’s a minor detail to the whole film i guess. 7.5/10

The Firm was one of my first favorite books, John Grisham the GOAT. First time I saw the movie, I was a little disappointed cause it didn’t live up to the book. Having not read it in forever tho and freshly rewatching the movie, it’s way better than I remembered.

I had much higher expectations for this sadly

It's not a faithful adaption. It simply rewrites the entire ending. The score is very good and Tom Cruise running is great but that's about it.
