I love the demon screaming “F*CK ME”

This movie was alright. I definitely laughed way too much during this film. Regan’s one liners were just hilarious to me. I can kind of understand how this movie might’ve been scary to some people back when it came out but I didn’t find it scary. I really dug the music though.

Everyone always says this is the scariest movie of all time, but honestly..

I don’t see it? It’s probably because I’m watching it in the modern day, but it’s not THAT scary. It’s a great movie and an iconic piece of film history, just a little exaggerated about in my opinion.

not scary and pretty slow-paced, but i see how it became such a classic in the horror genre

Hot take …… this is overrated , acting is trash , the girl crushes it but drags on for a good hr in beginning …… couple good scenes but all in all not a horror masterpiece …….. I see why took me this long to watch lol

My friends mom is a big horror movie person and doesn’t get scared. She said this is the scariest movie she’s ever watched. Me and my friend watched this together, being big horror movie fans. The first 30 mins was gold digging in Iraq. So boring and long. More funny than scary

Stands the test of time. Bonus points for being DC-based

It was ahead of its time, and the cinematography was so stunning with the hints of scare and gloom. No wonder the title called Exorcist because the scene did really engraved in my mind. The downside is the slow pace and I wish to know the backstory of the devil itself.

you’d think I’d lower the rating cuz “the scariest movie of all time” didn’t actually scare me that much. some scenes ESPECIALLY the devil’s absurdly foul language genuinely had me laughing, but my rating isn’t cuz of the gore or horror. It’s cuz of the religion, faith, suffering, evil, innocence, humanity, and the sheer weight of what this movie is really about. I was locked in the entire time surprisingly never bored and left thinking way more deeply than I expected. the acting is excellent & the horror execution is impressive especially considering when this came out!

This was my first time watch! On Halloween in theaters 🎃
And I wasn’t disappointed, it’s definitely a classic for a reason.
It was more sad than scary in my opinion
The acting was great from everyone, the storytelling quick and concise, The practical effects amazing

Watched this because it was described as "perfect" by Tarantino.

It was interesting and is definitely a landmark of horror history. Personally though, I feel like the story leaves some loose ends that bother me a little bit.
