The dialogue between McCall and all the men who stood in his way was so chilling and real. Denzel gave a stellar performance and brought so much depth to this tortured character.
I can’t wait for the sequel where he adopts his signature catchphrase:
“You just got Equalized fool!”

Watched over spring break to florida

Well made movie. Loved it. Great acting!

I wanted to watch a gritty Denzel flick for its 12th anniversary. I love this; it mixes slow-burn character building with satisfying justice.

What Worked:
• Denzel brings a quiet, intense calm that honestly makes him magnetic.
• The diner scenes with Moretz have surprisingly genuine emotional weight.
• The final hardware store showdown using random tools is ridiculously fun.

The Friction:
• The Russian mob villains feel one-dimensional and cartoonishly evil.
• The runtime gets bloated, and the middle part really dragged for me.
• It gets a bit too invincible-superhero at the end, losing some gritty realism.

Verdict:
I love this. Watch for a satisfying, slow-burn thriller. Skip if invincible heroes annoy you.
