I'm in tears with the number of topics this movie is infused with. From love and life to heartbreak and responsibility. The journey of a young couple and newborn through disaster and devastation. My heart goes out to every single person and family seeking refuge, seeking a new home. The hardships and dilemmas, the sacrifices we have to make. This movie was more than just a climate disaster.
I just thought the suspense build-up was slightly underwhelming, and the length was too long. Other than that, the score paired up with the acting and dialogue was intensely good.

Quite a depressing and stressful film, but it really pulls on your heart strings and, for once, is actually a really real and believable portrayal of a disaster scenario. Recommend you see it once, but I wouldn't go through that stress again.

I love Jodie Comer. Her acting has always been phenomenal to me. She shows a range of different emotions in this movie and she carries them all in a way that makes her an inspiration in her craft.

The events in this film would be reasonably terrifying for anyone, especially a new mother, to endure alone. I love the relationship she had with Katherine Waterston's character, O. I think having another mother to bond with helped her a lot during her grief even if they eventually parted ways. I like that it was a good part of the film and we watch their bond grow.

I do not like the name Zeb at all, so I did have to get over that for the film. It was also funny to see the noticeable changes of the baby actors but the film was still enjoyable and the babies were all really cute.

Watched on BBCi Player, a rollercoaster of emotions about people starting life anew after great flood! Jodie Comer plays a believable character struggling through trials and adversity, Benedict Cumberbatch even makes a Cameo appearance 7.5/10. Worth a watch on Freeview ☺️👍

so beautifully realistic. watched this in the plane to educate my mom on jodie comer lol (and she didnt fall asleep so mission accomplished)
