The Divide
This is just point-blank bad, and there's no other way to describe it. The story started off interesting and felt as if it were going somewhere worthwhile, until it didn't. It tried but ultimately remained stuck in the confines of nothingness. The acting is mediocre, the sense is subpar, and all in all, it feels exploitative. Even with the intentional symbolism (basement and characters) or metaphors and allegories on humanity's self-destructive behaviour, it all just feels murky, muddled, and pretentious.

The Divide
A fantastic non-zombie post-apocalyptic flick that shows the complete dissolution of humanity in desperate times. Given recent global events, it’s fair to assume this is an accurate portrayal of how quickly things would go south. Hard to watch, but a great flick.

The Divide
One of the best movie in its genre I’ve ever seen. I wish there would be smth else close in its atmosphere to The Divide. The overall tension, the psychology, the personal faces of grief - everything fascinated me. It was a separate pain to see how the life of the fireman ended..
