Good idea but it was very boring. Nothing really happened and nothing was explained, very superficial storyline.

I absolutely love the feeling this movie gave me as I think of the first time I watched this in school😍😍

Found this randomly on Netflix and decided to give it a shot because of the amazing cast. I was positively surprised by the unique plot and just the overall quality of the movie.

Le concept est vraiment cool, mais j’ai trouvé que c’était pas assez bien exploité. Ça manquait cruellement d’émotions, fin je veux dire on parle de la mort et sans émotions c’est difficile de la ressentir.

La fin est à la fois un point positif et négatif parce que d’un côté ça apporte de la cohérence et une fin qui plaît au spectateur. Mais de l’autre côté, ça aurait peut-être été mieux de laisser en suspens sans donner de fin ni d’explications rationnelles à tout ça.

A mon goût, ça manque de belles images, et pour un sujet comme ça ce serait mérité. Mais sinon ça raconte une histoire d’abord, et c’est bien car autrement on serait vite tombé dans le côté « documentaire ».

A decent idea stretched into a painfully long, uninformative film. Decent casting and dialogue, and that's about it. The premise wanted to be large and philosophical but by the end feels small and pretentious. The romance worked for the first 30 or so minutes and then turned generic. The same goes for the plot and pacing. Rip Redford, I hope this isn't life after death, although I'm still not even sure what the 'discovery' even is. There's better-quality sci-fi in the Netflix catalogue, so don't waste your time.

Such a fun idea for a movie, but this was so boring. So disappointed

The Discovery starts with an intriguing premise that had the potential for something powerful. Sadly, it never delivers. The story feels messy, the twist falls flat, and what could have been thought provoking ends up disappointing.

Didnt event get to the end of this film. Poor.
