The Dirties Reviews

Elephant but more movie oriented

Idk how to rate, I like a found footage type of movie but it was an uncomfortable topic fs but felt more realistic than most scripted documentary type of films and the ending sorta sucked

This is my favorite movie because I’m a bad person 😇😇😇😇

4/5

kinda shocked don't know what to think

No.

Eerily accurate portrait of high school in a way you rarely see on screen. Documentary-style approach was really effective, eliminating the distance between us as viewers and the events unfolding on screen, thus making us complicit observers rather than passive onlookers

Another banger from Matt Johnson. I love how real it feels. The camera filming style, the natural unscripted flow of conversation and the fact that most of the school were unaware they were being filmed, all create this unapologetic grounded reality.

started watching every matt johnson movie and wow 😮 a movie within a movie is such a interesting way 2 execute this idea but i loved it. only movie that really immerses you in situation like this. knowing the characters and then seeing the ending makes it all the more nauseating

Uncomfortable inducing school shooter film that puts you in the actual plan making — two best friends, one thinks the violence is a joke and the other executes it.
MINDFUCK

it was good

Alternative title: dude slowly starts to realise his friend is a psychopath

I didn’t think it was going to be a movie made by the shooters

reilly favorite movie… she might kill me if i say anything (jk)

antiklimax slut

Making a movie about school shooters making a movie about a school shooting

not many movies make me genuinely sick to my stomach; this one did, and i had to sit in silence to recover
