A fairly entertaining supernatural potboiler that finally bubbles over with a nearly operatic sense of absurdity and excess.

I’ve had an interest in this movie for many years, but just got around to watching it. I have always been fond of films that utilized the devil as a main character. The idea of true and pure evil is just very interesting to me. The movie was long, but I enjoyed it.

THAT HURT. poor mary ann. she didn’t deserve any of that. also seeing keanu shoot himself in the head was something i wasn’t ready for and am still very much processing. that hurt a lot.

Keanu’s accent is cringe inducing. Cool concept of a story from a high level. Pacino carried hard if not for him this movie wouldn’t be remembered.

Ending could have been better 🥲
