The Departed

9.2/10. One of if not my favorite Martin Scorsese movie. Whatever you think is going to happen in this movie, you’re probably wrong. The plot is unpredictable and the characters are all great. Highly recommend watching if you haven’t seen it already.

9.9/10 a top movie. Many have tried to go the undercover cop route in movies but for some reason this does it the best. Is it the star studded cast, the story, directing, twists, time of release? We will never truly know but this movie is the one.

This is part of the monster canon along with Scarface, Godfather and Casino.

The storyline was crazy! I was sucked in and couldn’t stop. Stayed up way too late to finish it. Mob and crime dramas usually aren’t my jam but this was straight psycho. Ending is WILD. Language and Gore was a bit much at times (Be careful out there). Crazy cast and they were Al so young.
