i’ve been listening to heavy metal all my life so i’ve kinda learned to just ignore the misogyny but even with that aside, most of these guys are just downright annoying 💀

4/5 - great documentary, i fucking love metal & so it was very eye opening of the era & the foundations of metal from the 80s and earlier.

but i do hate listening to some of these men talk theyre so icky like just sing your songs and look pretty pls x

this makes metal heads look like such dorks and scumbags. Especially Kiss which I think that was the truth in their case. otherwise I feel like everyone else was trying too hard to seem cool. A lot of misogyny and bullshit

If you want to know what it was like living in the 80’s, living and loving metal, this is it! A spectacular doc that captures all the excess and decadence before the full appreciation and awareness of AIDS and addiction. The best of the Decline movies.
