I really liked how surprisingly nuanced this film was, but I hold some criticisms for its philosophy of peace. It feels approving of peace through stength, with I hold a lot of issues with. If they had just tweaked the message, I think I could walk away liking this a lot more.

A sci-fi classic from the 50s, I really enjoy this movie, and having the opportunity to watch it in the big screen is great.

Could’ve been cut shorter, and the message wasn’t impactful at all
The newer version tried to add more but both movies don’t deliver

An amazing film. A near-flawless script, wonderful story, and great original science fiction.

SOOO GOOD!!! the acting is great, the set design is really cool, the pacing is perfect, the story was so fun. love love LOVE! alien mccarthyism. the alien’s relationship with bobby and helen was just like dr who and his companion
