I really need to read the book. I enjoyed the movie, I love how it makes you think of questions you might not have thought of before. It sheds a different light on some interesting historical topics but in a fun entertaining way.

If it wasn't for the storytelling it would have gotten a way lower rating. The cast seem like they actively hate each other, the visuals are fine, and the dialogue is a little complex for the average audience but the storytelling is what makes this far better than its sequels. The historical interpretations and religious retelling. The moments of anticipation to find out the mystery of a story within another story. I give most of my points to the book as Ron Howard's directing fits more of an episodic format. It's way too long, way too repetitive and way too predictable.

The white guy is creepy

Perfect bad but good movie

There is nothing that can convince me that this wasn’t an absolute amazing film to watch. It may not be for everyone but I found myself enjoying everything about it, from Hanks and Tautou’s performance to the entire mystery behind the storyline. It’s just a good movie. 10/10!!!!!
