I enjoyed this one more than the first movie. The storyline was more interesting, the pacing was better, and the chemistry was better than the first movie. The only thing that didn’t improve was the acting, which was worse imo

I actually enjoyed this one more than the first film. I found the beginning quite slow and it took a while to really get into the story, but once it got going I enjoyed watching the skating partnership develop and seeing the characters improve together.

I also loved seeing Christy Carlson Romano in this, especially because I grew up watching her in Even Stevens and Cadet Kelly, so there was a big nostalgia factor for me. It was really surprising seeing her as a figure skater!

Overall, I thought this was better than the first, but unfortunately neither film has been amazing enough for me to want to watch them again. I enjoyed them for what they were, but they’re not films I’ll be adding to my rewatch list.

Copy paste the first movie, swap out the hockey for skateboarding / surfing- again, how did Alex learn to skate at an Olympic level so quickly?? I believed it more coming from a hockey player but a guy who’s clearly never skated on ice? At his age? I liked the first one better
