such a good revenge story, i love eric, he’s such a tragic character and he’s so larger than life but also so sympathetic, i teared up at many emotional moments because they were so well done and true to life, i’m also glad they took care of the kitty :)

if this movie had some actual good writing it would have been amazing,but it didn’t. i only gave it a like because of its successful atmosphere creation. the low exposure, gothic aesthetic and 90s soundtrack is what sets it apart. reminds me of the older animated batman cartoons.

i love this movie, that's mever gonna change, but i have to admit it's kinda fucked that eric's the one that got revived instead of shelly. it just makes more sense; she got a waaaaay worse deal. instead she just got fridged

Honestly everything I really liked about the book was absent or somewhat misrepresented here. Maybe my expectations were just too high.

Not messy or ambiguous enough and acting was quite poor, main dude was too animated.

Didn’t finish, maybe the last 20 minutes are good?
