The Crow

such a good revenge story, i love eric, he’s such a tragic character and he’s so larger than life but also so sympathetic, i teared up at many emotional moments because they were so well done and true to life, i’m also glad they took care of the kitty :)

There's something particularly hypnotic about its gothic aesthetic that elevates the material and makes it entertaining in every dark alley Brandon Lee's shadow wanders through in his final act.

if this movie had some actual good writing it would have been amazing, but it didn’t. i only gave it a like because of its successful atmosphere creation. the low exposure, gothic aesthetic and 90s soundtrack is what sets it apart. reminds me of the older animated batman cartoons.

Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever.

It’s so sad that life imitated art with this film, but Brandon Lee left behind an iconic performance. Loved seeing this movie in theaters alongside the music video for Ice Nine Kills’ “A Grave Mistake”! Thanks AMC!
