such a good revenge story, i love eric, he’s such a tragic character and he’s so larger than life but also so sympathetic, i teared up at many emotional moments because they were so well done and true to life, i’m also glad they took care of the kitty :)

There's something particularly hypnotic about its gothic aesthetic that elevates the material and makes it entertaining in every dark alley Brandon Lee's shadow wanders through in his final act.

if this movie had some actual good writing it would have been amazing,but it didn’t. i only gave it a like because of its successful atmosphere creation. the low exposure, gothic aesthetic and 90s soundtrack is what sets it apart. reminds me of the older animated batman cartoons.

This is a bad movie. Probably better in the 90s but I just thought the actin was bad, the incessant flashbacks were irritating, and the depiction of Detroit as an apocalyptic wasteland is ridiculous.

5/5 - i fucking LOVE this movie so much, one of my favourite of all time. The story is so bittersweet, Brandon Lee was incredible throughout, the gothic vibes, the soundtrack, the plot, soooooo good, if youre a fan of the 90s gothic genre this is a must watch !
