I love disaster movies that make zero scientific sense, and this one is up there with the best of the worst

Think this is definitely one of the most underrated disaster films. I have no clue how sound the science is but honestly, who cares

Obviously a big budget number but made in a time that FX didn’t age well. Also, I have so many science questions that contradict what I saw.

This does not deserve the rap it has/had at the time. I enjoyed it, it’s sci fi who cares if some things don’t make sense it’s for enjoyment. The cgi was funny because the ship going into the core didn’t look all the bad compared to the spaceship haha. But this was worth watching

scientifically, nothing did make sense in this movie. but then again, that's why it's fiction and called creativity. which made it a great one.

Kinda cheesy at times, but i honestly was really engaged with the story, also i love when sci-fi movies have more interesting plots rather than just aliens or being in a spacecraft in space.

It’s cheesy but what a cast. The story is very over the top but still, I found it entertaining
