i so badly wanted to love this movie! i wanted to jump up in the cinema and say ‘HORROR IS SO BACK BITCHES’ but it fell too short. the acting was great, the locations and costumes and even the actors playing young ed & loraine were spot on but- that god damn plot.

there was so many plot holes and questions left unanswered. i felt it was very anticlimactic and had so much potential to be something more. there was inconsistencies with the story of the family, why didn’t they show ed and loraine the evidence? why didn’t we see judy being told about the priest visiting them or how she even ‘seen his death’? how did ed survive? did they seriously defeat a BIG fuck off demon with the mother / daughter power ?
who were the demons? why the attic? why always annebelle? i thought this was a conclusion of this universe and yet nothing was fully tied up whatsoever.

however i did enjoy the coming full circle with judy but i wish we got to understand her more. there wasn’t anything scary about this movie and it really disappointed.

I really wanted to love it since it's one of my favorite series but they didn't do things right. It lasts more than two hours and the main case feels very rushed and nothing else is explained well. It has some good scares and shots but I feel like the Warrens' plot drags on

BORING! WHY did it take so long to go to the house! nothing happened till they got there, made the ending rushed & anticlimactic! NOT scary at all! cringey script! MANY PLOT HOLES!! +the guy sat next to me in odeon sounded like he was making out with his chicken wings NOT fun x 🍿

I liked the movie, there were a lot of moments where I almost screamed. however they took on the case too late into the movie that it didn't do it justice and felt rushed. The case needed to have more serious consequences and more creepiness to it.

GREAT jump scares!! Gave me opportunities to sneakily hide behind my crush 😍

Really wish they focused more on the actual haunting. By the time they took the case the movie was almost over. I wasn’t expecting this to be great but I’m a little disappointed with how rushed it felt.

favorite horror universe. I don’t recommend watching the trailer unless you wanna know where all the jump scares are, but regardless of that I enjoyed this a lot. glad we got to see the warren’s one last time, love their chemistry

not scary and i feel like we knew nothing about the mirror demon. like we didn’t even know its name

i loved this one so much!!! annabelle just wants to be there so bad lmao. i liked how scary this one was. i love a cool scary axe slinging slasher. and the wedding scene was so cool with the cameos. i do feel like it was a bit slow, but definitely a good watch. so. sad it’s over:( one of the scariest movie franchises/universes ever. i’m glad the dogs alive as well.

The Conjuring series concludes with a solid entry that isn’t as exciting or scary as previous efforts, but delivers effective drama, and a touching finale.

I like it in movies, cinema experience 10/10, nerds gone, best company I could ever ask for.

I am so angry. I have been looking forward to seeing this movie since it was announced. I am so disappointed. Why did they start the case with 20 minutes left in the movie? And why did they show us Tony proposing and Judy picking out a wedding dress??💀

Man they put Meet The Fockers into my Conjuring movies wtf. Once the Warrens actually got to the house that’s when the movie actually started. Still cool and all but fuck man not that great. Like usually the evil spirit is given a backstory but nah it’s just

“oh there’s these three farmers one of those killed the other two cause he was cheated on and there’s a demon just using them as a facade but we don’t know shit about this demon but with the power of family we can destroy it”

Like fuck off there’s no fucking way that’s the way that actually all went down irl

I did enjoy this movie but it has a pacing issues and my God they took ages to get to the house. It took roughly an hour and 20 minutes to get to the important plot points for the story. Really wanted to love this as I love this series but it didn't hit unfortunately. 6.6/10
