2/20/26: What,,.. there literally wasn’t a movie here. I did not watch a film. There were pretty dances but there was no connection or real context. Oh my god how did that just happen

So boring. A movie about literally nothing.

A documentary-like look at a ballet company that’s almost plotless because of the focus on their innerworkings and practices. Something which could be explained by how Altman used to make industrial docs/safety videos; Very realistic. The dances are filmed very gracefully.
