The Color Purple

so slow and was rlly hard to get into. i'm not huge with older movies i only like very few mostly from childhood and idk. i didn't pay too much attention to it either i'll have to come back and watch it again and actually pay full attention to it.

by far the best speilberg movie. i cried so much during that ending. the cinematography was beautiful, and for whoopi goldbergs first ever role, that was extremely good. Never been a fan of whoopi because of her personal views but I can't deny the great performance

Loved the book so knew I’d love this. Had me crying at the end. Takes you on such a journey. Whoopi was amazing
