The Children Act

Quite beautiful and much more than I expected. I anticipated a full courtroom drama but this is much more delicate than that. It explores the complexity of life and our choices, the mysteries we’re all trying to sort through. It’s simple but very moving. And Emma Thompson gives a very powerful performance. Score is really wonderful as well, reminds me a lot of Max Richter. Just a really good film.

Brilliantly written and beautifully acted. Thought provoking treatment of a difficult topic.

Ok literally soooooo good. This is my kind of movie. Solid acting, great plot. Drama yet thought provoking. And really emotionally touching. Loooovvveeeee
