The Change-Up

A great cast, and a proven-successful, Freaky Friday-esque premise, but this movie misses the mark in terms of character development, plot, and themes. The humor is too overtly crude and makes this movie uncomfortable to watch sometimes.

Good message. Feel like the execution could have been better

This wasn’t very good. It was kind of sad actually. I didn’t like the characters and found the plot quite plain. I don’t like Ryan Reynolds and this was not Jason Bateman’s best work.

Freaky Friday but with adult chaos, swearing, and questionable life choices. 👶🍻 Ryan Reynolds + Jason Bateman = solid laughs, but the plot’s kinda messy. Funny, if you don’t think too hard.
