I thought it would have been something like John Wick but it was completely different. Foster performance in showing a traumatised woman slowly losing a part of herself and becoming someone else, someone revengeful is applaudable. Kinda predictable but a satisfying end

Awesome and badass revenge thriller.
Jodie Fosters character ark was what really made this film different and easily one of her most underrated roles. The ending was just perfect and I liked that it ended on a happy note.

it wasn't something big, everything was predictable and a little boring. but it had a great casting and acting all at once.

It was fine. Nothing spectacular. A fair amount of what seem like disjointed dialogue or turns on the plot and/or blatantly obvious direction.

This movie is so underrated. Jodie killed it as erica, who goes on a dark path of revenge after a tragic event changes her life. You really felt her sharp transformation from a kind, vulnerable woman to a cold vigilante. Yet she still kept erica's underlying humanity visible the whole time
Her relationship with detective mercer as the film went on was also my favorite part. You could see them developing a real bond and understanding of each other. Made that ending when he decides to help her so satisfying
The way it explored how fear and loss can drive a normally person to extremes was super intriguing too. Not your typical revenge flick by any means. Wish more people talked about this movie! Deserves way more love and discussion
