my first time watching this as a kid, listening to a song sang by junkyard cars about how we all get old and worthless eventually gave me my first existential crisis at the ripe age of 9. I've been traumatized ever since. great movie.

Enjoyed it as a kid but did not enjoy it as an adult. Nostalgia couldn’t save this one for me at all. The story was meh, the animation was good, the vibe wasn’t there for me though.

That nightmare scene and trash disposal factory scene were scary
