The Book Thief

I read the book and I absolutely LOVED IT but I feel like this movie just doesn’t do it justice. Like, the main characters are awesome and the main storyline is there, but there’s a lot that they missed out on and I’m really sad about that. Plus, death as a narrator was amazing.

I like the story because of the book. The movie is just too fast paced so there wasn’t much depth to anything. They missed out on some of my favourite parts. So overall good story, a bit boring (only movie), you don’t get attached because it’s too rushed but still an okay watch.

I'm absolutely devastated by that ending that caused be to cry at 1am. This book really made me realize what a privilege I have to read books of romance,fantasy,thrillers you name it. I got really attached to all the characters that man is her father oh my god what a movie.
