this was so so so so so good. i LOVE whitney houston and she played her character amazingly. the plot was 10/10 im a sucker for a good romance especially when they aren’t supposed to be together. but yeah 1000000/10.

I HAVE NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHINGGG…IF I DON’T HAVE YOUU 🎶💕 I was not expecting this movie to get so moody and dark, I thought was just going to be a cute little romance 😭 but that airport runway scene hit the feels. Frank was Rachel’s reality check.

I don’t know why he was upset about Reagan getting shot.

I just wish that Rachel would have behaved a little more kindly and obeyed the instructions he gave her. but I guess that, after all, it was the magic of the movie and their relationship all along.

Rewatching The Bodyguard after all these years felt like stepping straight back into the early ’90s in the best possible way. The whole movie is such a perfect snapshot of that era: glamorous, dramatic, romantic, and just a little over the top. But honestly, one of my favorite things about it isn’t even on the screen, it’s knowing that Kevin Costner fought to have Whitney Houston cast in the role of Rachel Marron. I truly can’t imagine the movie any other way.

Whitney brings so much star power, vulnerability, and presence to the film that she doesn’t just play a superstar, she feels like one in every scene. That behind the scenes detail makes the whole thing even more special, because it’s impossible to picture anyone else carrying the role with the same magnetism. Years later, that’s still what lingers most for me: The Bodyguard is pure early-’90s movie magic, and Whitney Houston is a huge part of why it endures.

this movie is severely underrated. It is only a 6.4 on IMDb and that is way too low. The soundtrack is so good and Costner and Houston were great.

Despite its minor flaws in terms of pacing and obviously predictable plot, this film delivers both compelling performances by Costner and Houston along with a decent romantic thriller that kept my attention throughout its runtime. And the singing, great performance. 8.4/10!!!!!!!

Whitney houston is so gorgeous.

Very good movie. I don’t know if it’s incredibly romantic by contemporary standards but the plot was great.
