terrible book terrible film

Hilariously bad.

Best cgi ever

As a person who suffers from ornithophobia, this film shocked me. After watching The Birds, audiences will never look at birds in the same way ever again, which is perhaps Hitchcock's original intent.

Great cock film from the cock man. Shit was lowkey weak tho 9.5/10

it was good at the beginning but then it gets a bit boring, that open final it’s not my favorite, i just expected more for what i saw the first minutes of the movie

This DIVA! I’m obsessed, and kinda love how we’re not really given any answers… or were we? Hmmm 🐦‍⬛🐓🦜🦆 the audio, the green screen, the sound effects, the main character’s personally, and just the birds in general - before it’s time and the blueprint for most cinema today (us) 🦅🦃🦤

I enjoyed how mysterious this whole movie is. You are left to draw your own conclusions by the end of the film, which I appreciated. It’s got some goofy moments but that’s to be expected from an older movie of this kind. Pretty solid all around

this film does an incredible job at keeping you absolutely engaged and anxious when at the end of the day they’re only talking about birds - very impressive visually for the time period and i did enjoy the ambiguity of the ending, but maybe wanted a little bit more from it

The birds was worth the watch. I love how Alfred Hitchcock built the tension. How random the bird attacks were. I like that it didn’t give why the birds were attacking. It made more dreadful that way. I would recommend this movie a lot.

Doesn’t age well. Even still. You have a love story slash comedy that isn’t too bad. Kinda cute. Old school chemistry. Then let’s shift to killer birds with no reason.

most unbelievable part of this is melanie got pranked by a dude one time so she followed him to his hometown two hours away and he was like “yeah you can come inside my house actually come to my sisters birthday party tomorrow too” and then they were making out and acting like a couple over the course of 48 hours,, like girl y’all don’t know each other!!! you are strangers act like it!! the heterosexuals frustrate me endlessly ugh. but yeah go birds fuck em up

I had so many theories but each one was proven wrong the more i watched, and by the end i was left confused. However the movie was really enjoyable, i really liked it.

I was expecting more from this film. I have to admit that the cinematography and continuity were handled very well, especially considering the technical limitations of the time. I wish they had offered some explanation for the birds’ strange behavior, such as a virus or something similar. They also included a bit of gore, which must have been quite disturbing for audiences in the 1960s. I know Hitchcock is considered the master of horror and suspense, but I personally prefer Welles.
