Honestly, I think this movie is one of Robin William's most underrated films. The comedy and the story were both fun, the acting was great and I had a good time watching it all the way through. Would definitely watch again if I had the chance.

It’s boring

My greatest issue with this movie is the pacing. All the performances are fine and the story is interesting, and some okay laughs. But the actual premise of the movie takes forever to come into play.

robin williams did amazing as always. surprisingly woke for its time and i loved it. it shows that gay ppl have always been here 🏳️‍🌈

An absolute masterclass in acting & writing, incredible in every way.

Nathan Lane’s best role ever, possibly Hank Azaria’s best role ever, and Robin Williams at his best. On this rewatch I noticed the son was quite the selfish little prick, but the movie is still absolutely brilliant - I love it.

8/10 Williams/Lane were a match made in heaven with Hackman on top form. Final line had me rolling around in stitches, so funny. Recommend.

The performances in here are amazing from every single person acting in this movie, after 30 year this movie still makes me laugh as the first time.
