The Beguiled

definitely a ‘style over substance’ movie, which sofia coppola is mostly known for and something i usually don’t mind. and while this movie is beautifully shot, it wasn’t enough for me to be fully invested (exception: the last minutes). overall a pretty okay movie.

Just imagine an injured woman in a house full of men🎀 this was a great movie and really worth watching. It was way more interesting than I thought it would be but not because it was filled with action. It was simple and capturing in a way, and I would actually recommend this.

To be honest, the beginning and middle of the movie was the most boring for me. I thought I was just watching a bunch of girls lust over some random soldier who was taking advantage of them. But then the end came. Literally made my heart hurt. (For the girls.)
