The Beguiled

definitely a ‘style over substance’ movie, which sofia coppola is mostly known for and something i usually don’t mind. and while this movie is beautifully shot, it wasn’t enough for me to be fully invested (exception: the last minutes). overall a pretty okay movie.

Just imagine an injured woman in a house full of men🎀 this was a great movie and really worth watching. It was way more interesting than I thought it would be but not because it was filled with action. It was simple and capturing in a way, and I would actually recommend this.

incredible cinematography that captures sisterhood and pining after a mediocre man so well, but ultimately, this film lost me with the plot and plethora of plot holes

Oh, my word! I struggled so hard to get through this movie, very predictable and oh so boring. It is almost felt like biting into a hollow sandwich.🫠
