The performances from the mother and daughter were crazy good and had me hooked. The "evil kid" genre doesn't work so well nowadays, but back then they were done so well, similar to something like "The Omen." Twist wasn't super shocking but had me surprised!

This is way better than the remake. wish it was in colour though.

The only issue is the ending which I read was only added because they couldn’t show criminals escaping justice back then.

Absolutely classic. 7/10

The acting from McCormack was impressive enough, but then Eileen Heckart comes in and completely steals the two scenes she was in along with the movie. I loved the way they did the end credits as well.
