BABAAAAAA. DOOK DOOOOOOOK. 8/10. I just wish the little kid died at the start of the movie for the sake of my sanity.

The Babdook is a horror movie based off a child’s storybook. This movie is a symbolistic representation towards mental illness. Even though a lot of it may not be interpreted that way, it is based off of mental illness and is portrayed in a unique way. 8/10

How did anyone think this was a good movie? Super annoying kid super overrated movie super mediocre plot

Don’t get me wrong this is LEGENDARY but don’t expect it to be good or scary at all 😅

rewatched it but interesting way to portray mental illness. i’d be depressed too if my kid was that annoying 🫤

Made my Top 10 worst horror movie list (not worst as in scary, worst as in shouldn’t have been made) i went in with low expectations and they dropped lower as I was watching. I know it’s older but Annabelle was made the same year so…it was just bad. The ending was underwhelming.

Meh. Kids annoying so you don’t care about him until the end. You only see mom after the accident. So you don’t get a sense of who’s she was prior until the end. So you don’t care about her either. Hard to empathize with characters that annoy you. It was okay. Not great.

A beautiful metaphor on trauma grief, this movie is fantasticly suspenseful, showing just enough to keep things moving but keeping its card close to its chest. It gave me quite a few good jumps and feels really classic without being too cliché.

I mean that kid was a gosh dang psychopath
