The Awakening

The films period piece vibe was pretty good besides the main characters modern hairstyle. Dialogue in the first half was solid, did get lazy. The plot was pretty good, especially the twists. Romantic subplot was all over the place. Some awesome scares, some cheap.

The 19th century Zak Bagans! Bad jokes aside, I wasn't expecting all of that.

i just can't tell if she's a ghost at the end or not and it makes me feel incredibly stupid
