The Astronaut

The score and pointless point of a plot have given me a headache I haven't felt in years. What was the actual point of this? I felt like an astronaut myself… suffocating and losing all sense. For a low-budget film, the production is decent, as is the acting and suspense. Overall, the mystery throughout the first half was great. It's the repetitive second half and absurd ending that ruin it entirely. Introducing plot points that amount to almost nothing… It could have gone in any of the several directions it was teasing. Instead, they chose the children's book ending. I didn't dislike it. It just doesn't make sense.

beginning was p slow but i think the best parts of the movie were the ominous portions, esp when the only things we saw of the aliens were blurry scp-like images. i didn’t like the twist. i think it would’ve been better as a found footage body horror than what it ended up being

Yeah okay. They tried but it didn’t work. Felt like a drag and the ending was really cringey
