Technically, this movie is flawless with a great message for the younger generation about the power of their voice. It’s beautiful to look at and brings you your favorite gang from Riverdale with a pinch of Indian masala. Too many songs for my liking though.

As far as musicals go, this one was pretty decent. A few too many songs, not enough time spent with all the characters, and not enough use of Indian culture to make it unique. But the story is incredibly relevant and the film’s aesthetic is gorgeous.

the movie itself is good and i love that the actors actually looked their age. however there were too many songs and the acting itself could’ve been much better
