The Adventures of Tintin

i remember liking this movie but finding it hard to focus on anything but how realistically textured everything was. the pores, freckles, and peach fuzz were on full display

Sometimes movies are loved, not for either box office numbers or quality but for nostalgia or meaning. A lot of my childhood revolved around Tintin, I played the game several times and could not stop saying Capt. Haddocks phrases. It's been a while since I last watched this, and I was surprised how well it held up through time. The animation and sophisticated dialogue made my jaw drop at times. Blistering blue barnacles, I hope Spielberg makes a number 2 or a live action version at least.

i loved it. left unfinished to be completed in the sequel. 14 years later still no sequel. sad times.
