this movie was seriously my favorite thing in the world until I was told multiple animals died during filming because special effects weren’t a thing yet so they just sacrificed them 😭 i can’t watch it anymore knowing that which makes me so sad

I used to watch this movie all the time when I was a kid but I can’t even think about it now that I know so many animals were harmed and even killed while making the movie…

Im terrified after hearing the actual story rip to the poor animals that were sacrificed for this movie

I absolutely adored this movie as a kid, but as an adult I have found out that animals Were harmed in the making of this film. Watchers beware.

It’s cute but odd. The narration overloads every moment, leaving little room for natural emotion. The journey is heartwarming, but the tone feels inconsistent.
