Gut wrenching performance from Foster. One of the most important legal dramas I've ever seen. Just wish they pushed more for the Bystander Effect being just as evil as the people egging the assault on. They made it seem like keeping your mouth shut and walking away is acceptable

This movie is harrowing, heart-wrenching, and triggering. It was almost too real. Jodie Foster EARNED her Oscar nomination for this movie. I was a mess. I just keep thinking of the final line of the prosecution’s summation: “Is that nothing?” HIGHLY RECOMMEND

It simply amazes me how vile and disgusting some people can be! No one should have to go through what Sarah had to endure. The statistic before the credits is just mind boggling, even more so that these numbers have just gone up!

One of the best performances by Jodie Foster, you can’t help but feel every emotion her character experiences: shame, disgust, anger, pain and the nauseating rape scene. The fact that it was a true story only makes it that more powerful and heartbreaking.

This is a hard watch. But great acting from Jodie foster
