“I don’t torture people.” “you didn’t.”
omg been waiting for this since the first one came out. I wanted to see the brothers bond more, and it turned out so good. I love their chemistry.
I slightly prefer the first movie over this, but this one was amazing too!

Quite the convoluted plot, inconsistent pacing, and very surface level. The first Accountant wasn’t my favorite but this one is worse.

Rating: 7.4/10
The Accountant 2 delivers more of the franchise's signature blend of intricate action and unique character dynamics. Ben Affleck reprises his role as Christian Wolff, an autistic forensic accountant with a deadly set of skills, teaming up with his estranged brother Braxton, played by Jon Bernthal.
Highlights
• Compelling Performances: Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal's chemistry is electrifying, with their sibling banter providing some of the film's best moments.
• Well-Executed Action: The film's action sequences are intense and realistic, showcasing Christian's unique combat style.
• Thematic Exploration: The movie explores themes of family, loyalty, and justice, with a touch of dark humor.
Criticisms
• Convoluted Narrative: The plot feels cluttered and complex, with multiple factions and betrayals making it hard to follow at times.
• Generic Villains: Some of the new villains feel somewhat one-dimensional compared to the more nuanced antagonists from the first film.
• Overstuffed Storyline: The film tries to do too much, resulting in a less tight experience than the original.
Verdict
The Accountant 2 is a solid and enjoyable sequel that builds upon the unique foundation of its predecessor. While it has some narrative issues, the film's compelling performances, well-executed action, and continued exploration of its intriguing protagonist make it a worthwhile watch. Recommended for fans of the original and those who appreciate action thrillers with unique protagonists.

Great sequel! Can’t believe the last one came out in 2016. Love the bigger role for Bernthal. Major Punisher vibes. Two bad ass dudes on a mission and some serious revenge for a mysterious woman. Who wouldn’t love that?

Chris lacked the charm from the first film (and no Kendrick to help with that). Good action. But the humor tone was off. Felt forced.

This was ASS. Don’t understand the high reviews. WAY too convoluted, WAY too unrealistic (taking 3 barrel stuff to the chest pistol shots through Kevlar???), and WAY too cringy. I was so confused entire time. Way worse than first. 5.0/10

one of the only times i’ll ever say this….better than the first one. the comedy aspects of this movie was done amazingly. had me laughing out loud in the theater. the sibling banter was so funny and felt like watching real brother bickering.

Very fun movie to watch. Action all the way through with great twists. I was a fan of the original, and #2 did not disappoint. Each actor/actress has came a long way since the original movie and they all performed well. Does not take itself to serious but remains dramatic

Surprisingly, I enjoyed this movie much more than the first, which is one of my favorite Ben Affleck films. A lot funnier which I didn’t expect. Great to see more of Jon Bernthal. Story holds up very well.
