The funniest part is how a simple house cat accidentally becomes the key to solving a crime. Unlike serious crime mysteries, the entire investigation depends on following a curious pet to rescue someone who was kidnapped. The movie has a charming '90s family adventure feel.

Damn, man, why such a low rating? It's dumb, stupid fun led by a cool cat and an even cooler Christina Ricci. They try to go for like a screwball type of thing here in the finale, but the cast is fun, so it works.
