Started out amazing. Loved the incorporation video game jokes and some fun animation effects overlaid over the real world. The middle devolves into a Russian policy caper that slows down, but it does stick the ending to ensure this is a good watch—and informative too.

Video games + entrepreneurship + 8 bit animations/audio is a dream combo for me. Beginning is awesome and there’s a bit of a lull in the middle (hence a like and not a love) and finished really strong. Strong rec for my fellow gamers 🕹️👾🎮

Taron Egerton is such an underrated actor, expected a light hearted movie about an old video game but got a lesson on the Soviet regime. Really enjoyed the video game graphics throughout👾

Taron Egerton is a criminally underrated actor that should be in more projects. Also I didn’t knew I needed “I need a hero” action sequences in whatever language it was translated to
“I still see falling blocks in my dreams”

Amazing movie!! Such an interesting movie, with a great lovely ending. The story was very interesting even though it was just about having the rights for Tetris. I will admit the start was amazing, than it slowed down in the middle but than kept getting better from there. 8.7/10

Wow this was not what I expected at all, very good movie almost got the heart and I might download tetris

It was absolutely nothing like what I expected, it far exceeded what I was imagining going in. It actually ends up being like a mild action movie, and a pretty good one.

Wow… I didn’t expect all this espionage, thriller kind of movie for a video game story. It’s simple, but it’s very good storytelling. I really enjoyed it.

I’m a sucker for well written, dialogue heavy films and this is certainly no exception. The story is brilliantly managed, but the sheer uniqueness of the style of this film is something else entirely. Egerton is a treat to watch but everyone killed their role. 4.5/5
