An unorthodox biopic for an unorthodox man: It throws out all the conventions of a biopic.
The film has an interesting use of modern technology which shows the impact that Tesla had. Ethan Hawke is great as usual. And Nikola Tesla sings “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”.

I wanted to like this - recently finished “Empires of Light” - incredible non fiction book on Tesla and Westinghouse’s AC system vs Edison’s DC system. The movie covers the events but never really builds any tension or suspense.
