Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

Not enough kid content for kids to enjoy, but also not enough adult content for adults to enjoy.. so the movie just sits in purgatory.

The animation style was an awesome comic book like experience, the comedy was very Gen Z relatable and not forced or even cringey at all! I also loved all the movie, video games, and pop culture references that this movie brought! Definitely a must see movie! 🐢

Maybe the most surprising “love” this year. *Awesome* visuals, great soundtrack, legit funny, overall a super fun 90 minutes. On paramount+ now so go watch it (and sign up for paramount+ through queue plz 😂)

Animation banger for every age
Pleasant to watch, funny and beautiful in general

7/10

The animation is great. I love the use of real teens and realistic slang; the constant pop culture references get exhausting tho. The story? Meh. And the characterization of the turtles isn’t my favorite tbh. I wanted to like it more. 5/10
