as a young married woman, this movie spoke to me. i’ve seen friends do this, i’ve had similar thoughts but “new things get old too”. the writing, relationship dynamics, chemistry were all off the charts. the score was incredible- especially Margot & Daniel’s affair theme 1/2

FYI this movie is SO sexually explicit. I wasn’t expecting the level of dirty talk and sex this movie has.
Keeping that in mind, it’s a shockingly mature perspective of the shine wearing off of new things. I could write essays about some of these scenes

A fresh take on the usual story examining temptation vs. love. I found this film to be rather emotional. It can be easily said this is one of Seth Rogen’s best performances.

every person in this movie was insufferable except for tony. i love seth rogan so he gets a pass but michelle williams is so fucking annoying in this movie. the other guy idek abt him.

While there were some cringy parts, there was a bunch of scenes in this movie that really felt profound to me. “New becomes old” is a theme I didn’t think I’d be so affected by.
