T2 Trainspotting

The fist Trainspotting was about heroin. The second is about another dangerously addictive drug: nostalgia. T2 is mostly a character study of damaged people trying to reconcile their troubled pasts and find a motivation to move forward.

Enjoyed it.. Almost as good as the first one.. Pulling off a sequel after 20 years isn’t easy.

a smart yet unnecessary sequel that can’t live up to the original’s iconic image but builds upon it successfully. characters are given newfound purpose and there are just as many batshit crazy sequences with fun writing and an entertaining plot
