you know how when you wake up if you lick your fingers you get that nasty salty taste in your mouth that lingers until you eat cereal or drink something? that's basically the taste this movie left in my mouth. On top of that it's the most depressing thing i've seen. And confusing

I was wondering why I really liked the script that much until I realized it was written by Kaufman 😭. He's gotta be one of my favourite writers of all time because wtf is this.
Can't wait to watch Milk (2008) so I can see how tf it won the Best OG Screenplay Oscar over this 🙄.

i would have to watch this 100 times to be able to rate it 1-10. maybe the most melancholy and depressing movie of all time. incredibly confusing and complex, surreal. charlie kaufman is the best ever at what he does. i feel different after watching this. “everyone is everyone”..

Depressing, long and confusing.
I honestly wish I understood this movie better because right now it left me super confused about everything so these types of movies just aint for me or I probably just need to concentrate better on the movie I’m watching.
Either way this first watch got me confused and maybe in the future I’ll watch it again and give it a different rating but right now I can’t really give a proper rating.
