8.5 - I liked it more than most but I just love Moorhead & Benson. They swing for the fences. They mix big, heady sci-fi w/ micro, emotional, interpersonal stories & it just works for me. Acting is great. Story is good even if it does shift tones. Need more of uniqueness in film.

I wanted to like it, but it suffered from feeling like 2 movies in 1 and I wanted more of the time travelness aspect. It was cool, but I wanted to be shown more. When it did start to show more of this aspect, it ended. The beginning was too repetitive same scenes for 30 mins.

I love Benson & Moorhead, they did one of my favorite films, The Endless (and Resolution), and this one doesn’t disappoint if you like their style. It’s more polished and the pacing is off at times but I love their heady, creative storytelling that always takes you on a journey.

i really do see what they were trying to do with this movie but honestly it felt thematically jumbled, logically just dumb at times, and emotionally baiting - the performances were really good from jackie and dornan but i just didn’t rlly like the direction the plot took and the ending just was kinda ass, like no chance he couldn’t have turned and dove to the rock in time

and its legal! (side effects may include death)
