Loved everything about this movie the cinematography world building the songs I’m not really into musicals but this was awesome!

Tim Burton is the only person who can direct such a perfect Sweeney Todd adaptation. Him casting both his wife and husband in the leading roles is such a goated move. Plus, Sacha Baron Cohen as Adolfo Pirelli will always be the highlight of the movie!

My Christmas present was Amazon finally making this free on prime. Very glad I could finally watch it.

She’s putting what In her pies

The theme behind this movie isn’t my fav BUT Johnny Depp and Helena Bonbam Carter’s Singing sold it for me 🕺💃

Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter didn’t do the musical numbers any justice. Visually, a very good movie. The acting was superb. But the singing was so flat and boring from the main two characters. Anthony f*cking killed it though.

changing my rating from like to love for no apparent reason

I went into this not knowing that it was a musical so that was quite a surprise. I liked the cast performances, the plot, the production design and the gothic cinematography but I wasn’t really a fan of the musical score. It was superfluous and tedious to listen to at times

Love love love

i hate this version so much i don’t understand why it’s so popular, the singing feels so lifeless and everything feels so flat and miserable, i like the original broadway cast and the 2014 anniversary versions so so much more

Another infamous work from Tim Burton, a director that really has my interests at heart, it’s dark, it’s dirty, it’s bloody, man is always on point. Johnny Depp embodied Bejamin Barker to the T, yes, pun intended!!

Efsane oyuncu kadrosu,gayet iyi ve üzücü hikayesi ile oldukca güzel bir film.Müzikal tarzında olması biraz sıksa da bazı şarkıları sevmedim de değil güzel olanları vardı,Sonu oldukça üzücü bitmiş,keşke daha mutlu bir son olmuş olsaydı..

I suppose this could be around the bad taste… but I like it a lot… the music, the characters… so cynical… Burton nevertheless… And Vecna sings amazing I have to say…
