9.5/10. Makoto Shinkai does it again with another artistic delight that not only breaks my soul but also drives my hunger for more content by him. I’m going to give his past works a revisit

Pretty good. Not my favorite Japanese animation film. Beautiful visuals. Pretty interesting story. But felt a bit long, like it kept dragging on. The implied romance between Suzume and Souta felt weird/forced (she only knew him for a few days and 95% of the time he was a chair??)

The visuals and music are 10/8, stories 10/5 feels like a short movie extended to a long one, the main female character 10/0 weak, dump, and she hurt little kitty😡.

A great movie the ppl they met along the way added a very meaningful aspect to the story showing there’s really good ppl out there. Along with the self healing and closer shown the movie showcased that never giving up on ppl you care about pays out.
