just barely a like for it’s interesting direction and pretty legendary stature as one of the very first superhero films from so long ago. entertaining and short, with some logical short comings in effects and visuals

The birth of the ingredients needed for amazing superhero films!

Novelty to it being the first ever Superman (and I think superhero) film ever but it’s not great. The costuming is so charming but the plot and execution is dull. It’s not long which is a bonus but it’s not something I’d recommend

A clear criticism of imperialism, the Korean War, and the Cold War. I liked it a lot more than the movies I had to watch for class. I am interested in whether or not it faced any backlash. Overall it was a great film and I’m looking forward to seeing the actors in the series.
