I got teary eyed multiple times. For 2 reasons. 1: Getting to see the symbol of hope that is superman. I personally have never been a superman girl but this movie made me fall in love. What he stands for and the optimism he brings to the lives of the characters and viewers (2)

holy shit james gunn cooked this shit so hard - everything just works so well - has all of the guardians charm you know and love in a completely new way - the score was uplifting and emotional, the casting felt flawless, and the fight scenes are so animated and gripping that you genuinely feel like your watching a comic book - feels like what a superhero movie should be - so excited for the new DCU under Gunn

I miss Superman summer :,)
